Meet New Authors and Oh what a day!

Hi everyone!

I thought I'd slip a little something in here, just a little something to entertain you. As I mentioned, yesterday was a tad nuts here. As some of you know, I'm Canadian, so yesterday was also our Thanksgiving, which is a holiday. Of course, that's also when things go wrong, holidays I mean.

Seeing as it was the holiday, hubby was home, which was a good thing. We'd planned on going out for a while, but just as we were getting ready to go, our furnace started making odd noises, then screeched and stopped. Grrr!

Now, our home is new, we had it built 7 years ago, so furnaces and such shouldn't screech and quit. You'd think. Anyhoo, poor hubby went into fixit mode and tore into it. He's determined it's the fan motor. So, we've been huddled together for warmth, *G*, until today. He's got in touch with the furnace people and we've got a new motor ordered, so everything's fine, it's just been frustrating. And, of course, it's going to be expensive. Furnaces are, it seems.

Now, it's back to writing. Got my little heater going and a sweater at hand, if I need it.
